What was it like?
My life before I came to TWS? I was locked in a bathroom for a week, I did not shower I did not eat, but I remember crying on the toilet, with a needle in my hand. I remember asking God for help because I had no idea what to do and I was lost. I remember a warm sensation like a power greater than myself overwhelm me. I squirted out 60 units of crystal meth down the sink. I then for some reason called The Watershed for help.
What happened next?
I ended up coming to Florida on December 25th 2013. Treatment at the watershed wasn’t the best experience of my life, but they have a proven method that works if you follow the simple program to help you stay sober. By no means was I a role model at TWS but I completed the program to sober living. There’s nothing worse than a therapist calling you out on your bullshit, but after you accept the truth there is no better feeling.
What’s it like now?
I am very grateful for TWS and all that they have done for me and are doing for others. I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams because AA. I don’t know a lot, but I do know that Bill W and Dr. Bob and written a book that can save your life if you follow there suggestions.
Arun B., clean and sober since 12/25/2013.
